C5, Field Training Uniform (FTU); or
Appropriate civilian attire (example: black pants, white shirt or polo, black shoes);
Note on Footwear: If you don’t have the FTU boots, cadets can wear an alternate pair of black shoes or boots.
Reminder: Bring a winter jacket (issued or civilian) for travelling to and from buildings.
Emergency First Aid Training
Participants: Interested cadets who have turned 13 before Sept 1, 2023. Fill out this form to attend, before 0800 on 23 Feb 2024.

Location: 6 Lewis Gun Road (Connaught)
Dress: Civilian attire appropriate for the weather

Summer Staff Cadet Applications
CTC Staff Cadet applications are now open!
Eligibility:
Currently in Level 4 or higher
At least 16 before the start of the position
Not turn 19 before the end of the position
While candidates with a completed 6-week course are usually preferred during the selection, all qualified cadets are encouraged to apply.
To apply you must complete these steps:

Fill out this form to apply. Up to 5 choices can be submitted.
Submit the specified documents (CDT-130, direct deposit info of chequing account in the applicant's name (void cheque)) through the secure SharePoint. If you are uncomfortable sharing that info electronically, you can print and mail them in BEFORE the deadline (address in the booklet)
Deadline to apply: March 14 before 1800.

Staff Cadets who have not received an offer by 16 April 2024 may still be placed on a waiting list. Offers could be sent as late as June if positions become available.
Pay: Sgt is the minimum pay level for Staff Cadets at CTCs. Rates shown here are paid daily throughout the duration of the contract.

The Air Cadet League of Canada is pleased to offer post-secondary education scholarships to Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
The deadline for National Education Scholarships is April 1st, 2024

Heated Washroom Facilities
A heated washroom trailer is available for use by everyone located between 2 and 4 Lewis Gun.
This trailer will remain in place for use until the end of April 2024.

Newly Registered Cadets: They will automatically receive their account information at the email address on file once they are created.

Drivers

Due to limited space and lighting at Connaught, please follow the parking flow map and instructions below:
Enter via Vickers Gun Rd, then turn left on Brouillette Blvd
Drop-off/pickup occurs on Brouillette Blvd after Lewis Gun Rd (near Squadron HQ).
For pickup at the end of the night, park in the parking lot (not on Brouillette Blvd). Use caution when exiting the parking lot.
IMPORTANT: Exercise caution and patience when driving in this area, as there are many cadets in the parking lot.
Exit via Sir Sam Hughes Rd
Drivers are reminded to slow down.
Posted speed limits at Connaught:
50 km/h on Malibar Blvd,
30 km/h in all other areas.
Speed limits are strictly enforced by Military Police.
